I know what you're going to say, "Even this stuff is out of date" but oh well. I've been busy canning, trying to get ahold of somebody to install my stove, cleaning my messy house, work... you get the idea so here we go.
Abbi started school August 21st. She LOVED it! Darrin took work off to help get her on the bus and then meet her at the school to take pictures. Her and I went to Meet the Teacher Day on the 
20th. We were able to take all her school supplies, find her desk and meet her teacher. Her Teacher's name is Mrs. Tucker. Tammy (Darrin's Aunt) works there teaching 2nd grade I believe and she said Mrs. Tucker was a very good teacher.

Rigby has this program called the "3 minute read" where the kids bring home a folder each night and they have to read 1-4 pages. They split the kids into 2 groups I believe. The first group is for those that don't really know their letters or sounds so they take the alphabet home to go over with their parents. The other group actually has words and sentences to read. I'm sure you can imagine what proud parents Darrin and I are since Abbi is reading full sentences and is able to match the right picture with the right sentance.
Over all, I'm really glad we decided to put her in Rigby.
