Flooding the Yard!

Abbi's first swim lessons - she LOVED them!

Her teacher forgot her name so for 2 weeks he called Abbi Kenzie.

We had to miss a day because Abbi got strep so Launa told her teacher that she wouldn't be there. she also informed him what her name was. He was pretty imbarrassed pore guy.

I kept asking Abbi why she didn't correct him and she would always say "I don't want to make him feel bad."

So, on the last day of lessons he called her Abbi.

Eastern Trip

Here is a little taste of our trip back East. It was so much fun! Thanks all for letting us come stay with you!

We had a lot of fun on our trip. We loved seeing all the sights but I think our favorite part was getting to see all our family. It's definitely someplace I want to go back to but not until the kids stop complaining that their feet hurt and would rather no stop to read the information about what we were seeing. For everybody that lives out there we miss you and thanks again for letting us come!

Abbi is bobbing for apples. Beeps had to get her a different bowl then everybody else because Kami said there was floaty things in the other one after everybody else had stuck their faces in it. :)

We finally got new family pictures. Abbi wasn't feeling very well but she's doing her best to look good for the pictures. These pictures were taken in Craig and Lorrain's yard, very beautiful.

Dallin in now 9 months old. He's crawling, pulling himself up to things, trying to walk, clapping his hands and showing off his muscles.

Abbi is nearly five, I can't believe it! She starts kindergarten at the end of August. She's growing up so fast.

I'm still the pianist in primary. It's difficult but I'm learning again how to play which is good. One of these days I'll be able to feel confident enough to play both hands with out messing up all the time.

Darrin is still one of the financial clerks and he loves it. He is such a great accountant and good with numbers.

Overall, we're all doing well and having a great summer!

Updates

Well, T-ball has been over for quite some time but I'll catch up quickly. Abbi and Darrin't team the "Pirates" went undefeated!!! They were both pretty excited.

We're all excited that Spring is finally here! Abbi has started T-Ball with Darrin as her coach. They had their first practice today. Their first game will be Monday. Abbi is SOOOO excited.

Dallin is pulling himself up into a standing position and is trying to crawl and walk, it's so fun to watch him grow.

Darrin and I are both good. Just doing the same old thing, working, finishing the basement, working outside. All is well at our house.

Easter Fun

Well, the first part of Easter was fun! The Easter Bunny came on Saturday and left Abbi and Dallin tee-ball stuff and Darrin and I clothes. Dallin and Abbi were both excited and had fun with their toys. We even went outside to play, that's right OUTSIDE!! We were so excited to get out of the house, and whats even better is that is was somewhat warm and we have dry patches of grass!! Anyway, here's a short video of what the Easter Bunny left us I hope you enjoy!

Dallin

Dallin Patrick Simmons was born October 13th, 2007. He weighed 7 lb 11 oz and was 20 inches long. Now, 2 months later he's quickly closing in on 13 lbs. Dallin was long awaited for and we love him very much. Abbi tries to hold him and cuddle him as much as possible (so do I). We have been very blessed to have him in our home. We blessed him November 24th at 4:00 PM with most of our family in attendance. What a wonderful blessing it was.
